See the Best of the Mickelson

— Without the Hassle —

Designed to Be Easy — and Scenic

Simple Logistics. Great Ride.

Northern trailheads, four rock-carved tunnels, and a stress-free ride back.

A group shuttle that simplifies logistics and unlocks the most scenic northern miles of the Mickelson Trail.

How Our Shuttle Works

Trust Us - It's not our first rodeo

  1. Riders meet at the shop before it opens for regular rentals
  2. Rental riders complete bike fitting and test ride prior to loading equipment
  3. The shuttle drives to the furthest booked trailhead first
  4. Riders are dropped at their reserved trailheads
  5. The shuttle makes scheduled stops at other trailheads on the way back
  6. Each rider enjoys their own ride-back experience at their own pace

No car shuttles. No parking stress. Just ride.

Simple Logistics

The Lowdown

We provide a hassle-free, one-way, self-guided shuttle service to the northern trailheads of Deadwood (farthest), Englewood, Dumont, Rochford, and Mystic (closest). In the morning, we meet at our shop, load up, and depart.

The first drop-off is about an hour away but may be delayed due to future road construction and traffic. We visit the northernmost trailhead first and then the others on our return to Hill City. Groups may be mixed, so plan your time accordingly.

At your chosen trailhead, you’ll have all day to enjoy the beauty, nature, and history of the Mickelson Trail, which is well-marked.

These drop-off points provide access to the carved rock tunnels and Rochford, home of the famous Moonshine Gulch Saloon and the nation’s smallest mall.
